People are always asking me questions about my specs. Whenever I’m wearing my heart shaped glasses, people want to know if they’re prescribed. They are currently my favorite frame which means I wear them the most. I own several styles of frames. None of my frames look the same. After all, where would the fun be in that? I switch it up according to my mood, occasion, and attire. I have contact lenses as well but I spend a majority of my time in glasses. I have very sensitive eyes so clear daily wear lenses are my lens of choice whenever I ditch my specs.
The great thing about glasses is you can pick glasses that are bold as well as others which are subtle, nude or clear frames, or even thin wire material. You can even ditch the frames and get rimless glasses which barely look like you’re wearing glasses at all. The sky is the limit and so is the price if you’re still going to a brick and mortar optical. I quit buying glasses from brick and mortar opticals many years ago. They were overpriced and limited in options that fit my face. This was very disappointing for me. I can fool coworkers, church members, family, and friends into thinking I have a newer pair whenever I reach back for some of my older frames with a current prescription.
